Across Maryland, prizes total nearly $37 million, with 35 tickets worth $10,000 or more
Maryland Lottery scratch-off players in Aberdeen and Bethesda landed the largest prizes of the past week, as each visited the Lottery office in Baltimore to claim $250,000. Scratch-offs, Powerball, Bonus Match 5 and Pick 5 combined to deliver another five wins of at least $50,000.
Across Maryland, the Lottery paid nearly $37 million in prizes during the seven-day period ending June 16, including 35 tickets worth $10,000 or more that were sold or redeemed during that span.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations.
