In the non-frozen month's, I tend to run around in my '91 covered with autocross stickers. There are at least half a dozen Miatas at any given Autosports Northwest event.

I work and live on the South Hill. I put the Miata away for the season on Monday though. :(

Is this a new club? Regardless, do you have a web site.

www.clubmiata.com Club Miata Northwest is forming chapters. They have formed a chapter recently and are welcoming others. Here's a chance to form a club in the Inland Empire with the benefits of an established club. Contact the club president for opportunities.

Hopefully you will accept somebody from the wilds of Coeur d'Alene! I have been looking for a club/group to join. Please keep me in the loop.

I spend about half my time around Whitefish, MT too - LOTS of great drives over here. Would make a great tour from Spokane. The Boise Miata group was here last summer and had a great time driving through Glacier Nat'l Park and elsewhere. I'd be happy to help setup it there is interest.

That is some beautiful country. I spent a # of years in Glacier National. The best fun I had was hiking up to the glaciers and staying in the cabins where the college students were running the restaurant. Highlights of the trip were looking down the glaciers crevice and putting out pans of soapy water for the goats to drink. Ugh!

This sounds like a great idea. It would be fun to connect with other owners and share some experiences with our cars. Always nice to connect with locals for tips on repairs and for the inside scoop on where the fun roads are to be had. Spokane needs a club.

BTW - I have had an ad running on Craigslist for a few months looking for other Miata owners in the Spokane/Cda area (without a single response so far):

Gonna be moving to Spokane in April. Lots of Miata wrechtime and knowledge. Anyone in the Spokane area is free to contact me. I'm actually starting to thin out my current Miata parts inventory, so if you guys need something I'd be happy to help! Mostly NA stuff.

Hi Patrick,

I'm in town though not fully moved into the area until June 1. My car is still in Whitefish, MT but can bring it over anytime. Looking forward to our future drives.

BTW - I was at the Porsche dealership in Spokane last week and the dealer was telling me about a drive they take their cars out on. He said it is one of the best test drive loops in the country and a secret to most. I cannot remember the name he used but I believe it is south of Spokane in the hills. I'll ask him again next time I am in Spokane.

I joined the FB page today.

Regards,
Scott

Getting close to being here now Eh? I've just recently gotten settled in. Working full time makes it difficult to put a club together, but I'm still trying! Look forward to meeting ya!

Hi Patrick

I've been in town for a while now but without Miata. I am trying to get it to Spokane late this week. Will let you know if that works (somehow I need to bring three cars there).

Went on a great drive into Glacier Natl Park today - just a spectacular drive! Look forward to driving around CdA and Spokane area. Can't wait to take some of those wide open roads.

Patrick (and others),

I am in CdA and Miata is in the garage! Have had some stunning drives including one great one from Flathead Lake (Montana) to CdA. Let's get a drive together ASAP.

Forgot to mention that my neighbor is selling an early production # 1990 Miata in mint original condition. Only 14K original miles. Not a flaw on it that I could find. I was tempted to buy but price ($12.9K) is a little high in my opinion.

My name is Jeff, I live in Liberty Lake. The wife and I would enjoy cruising with other Miata owners if there's anybody still out there. We enjoy taking casual morning or afternoon trips.
