The Law and Ethics Continuing Education Training qualifies as a Continuing Education Course through the Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification Program, supporting the needed 20 hours of continuing education and fulfilling the six-hour requirement in Law and Ethics to maintain the Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist (CMPSS) recertification as required every two years. The goal of this course is for participants to understand, observe, and follow applicable laws and ethical standards related to their work to maintain boundaries and safety.
